This week's letter from Mrs Mayers...

Dear Parents and Carers

This week, has felt like a very busy week as we have had lots of classes out on trips. To find out more about their trips, please have a look at the News Articles linked below. The children have all enjoyed exploring new places and had lots of  learning to share when they returned to school.

I would like to thank Ms Webster, our English Leader, for all of her hard work in planning and organising the Reading Parent Workshop this week. The event was well attended and we have received lots of positive feedback - thank you! We will have more workshops coming up this term, and next term, so do put the dates in your diaries and come along if you can.

This weekend, on Sunday 2nd February, Yr1 and Yr2 will be leading Family Mass at 9.30am. Please do make sure you come along to support them and take part.

Kind regards

Hayley Mayers (Headteacher)

We are delighted to announce that Miss Richards, our Yr2 class teacher, is expecting a baby in July 2025. We are so excited to share this news with you and we look forward to welcoming another addition to the SWOY family in the summer. Congratulations to Miss Richards and her partner, Jake.

Year 5 had an unforgettable adventure at the Horniman Museum, exploring North American artifacts and soaking up the culture! Even with a little rain, they loved wandering through the beautiful gardens, designed like the vast landscapes of North America. Learning, exploring, and making memorieswhat a day! #Year5Adventures #HornimanMuseum #NorthAmerica #RainOrShineFun
