This week's letter from Mrs Mayers...

Dear Parents and Carers

I hope you all had a lovely half-term break and that settling back into school routines has gone well for all of you this week. The children have started their new topics with enthusiasm and it been nice to end the week with lots of sunshine!

Thank you to all of the families who attended our Book Look sessions this week; we hope it gave you a good opportunity to talk to your children about their learning ahead of Parents' Evenings over the next two weeks.

This Sunday 2nd March, Yr5 and Yr6 will be leading Family Mass in the church at 9.30am. Please do arrive in good time so that we can organise the children who are singing and reading. Next week, Yr6 will also be leading our Ash Wednesday mass on Wednesday 5th March 2025 at 10.30am. Please do join us if you are able to do so!

There are lots of trips, visits and events happening over the remainder of the spring term. Please look ahead at our school diary here. I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Kind regards

Hayley Mayers (Headteacher)

Year 2 is on a roll with learning to measure in meters! We had a blast heading outside in the sunshine to measure lines in the playground. From measuring how tall we are to seeing how far we can jump, it was a fun way to bring our maths skills to life. Can't wait for more outdoor learning adventures! #Year2Learning #MeasuringInMeters #OutdoorClassroom #MathsIsFun
