This week's letter from Mrs Mayers...

Dear Parents and Carers

I would like to take this opportunity to celebrate the huge success of SWOYSA's Magic Show this week. We are incredibly grateful to the magicians who donated their time to the school and to all of the parents and families who organised and supported the event. The children, and adults, had a fantastic time! SWOYSA are continuing to raise money to help us to develop our playground.

We had a very reflective end to our week, as Yr3 led our Reconciliation Service at church. They shared important messages about forgiveness and sang beautifully. We are very proud of them and will continue to keep them in our thoughts as they journey towards their First Communion.

Next week, we will have our PINS Coffee Morning on Wednesday 19th March at 9am in the music room. It is an opportunity for parents to gather together and share their experiences. Do join us if you can.

We will also have our school Book Fair arriving next week. Please see below for the Book Fair opening times. The Book Fair raises money for the school to spend on new books so your support with this is greatly appreciated!

Have a lovely weekend.

Kind regards

Hayley Mayers (Headteacher)

Duck Eggs at SWOY

During Science Week, we will have duck eggs arriving at St William of York. These will be located in our Reception Classroom but all of our children will have opportunities to visit and see the ducklings as they hatch!

This week's Friday Club was... Chloe, Clara, Una, Gabriella, Cassius and Julia.

Well done to all of you! You have been recognised for always being ACE and for consistently going 'over and above'.
