This week's letter from Mrs Mayers...

Dear Parents and Carers

I hope you all had a lovely Easter break. This week has been a short week in school but the children have settled back into routines very quickly and have been busy launching into their new topics.

I am absolutely delighted to announce that the school governors have appointed Ms Thorn as our Deputy Headteacher and SENCo. As you will know, Ms Thorn has been 'Acting Deputy' for the last two terms. She has performed the role fantastically and was an exceptional candidate during her recent interview! I am incredibly grateful for Ms Thorn's hard work and dedication to our school community and I am sure you will join me in saying 'congratulations' to her.

It is a very short half term, but please look ahead in our school calendar as there are lots of events going on over the next four weeks.

I look forward to an exciting summer term and I hope that you all have a lovely weekend.

Kind regards

Hayley Mayers (Headteacher)

We are currently working to fully embed this into our school curriculum and making meaningful links for our children. Year 2 had an amazing time at the Horniman Museum for our pond dipping and habitat workshop! We discovered all sorts of fascinating creatures in the water and explored micro habitats in the meadow. A brilliant day of hands-on learning and nature adventures!
